In the royal palace of Babylon, grand vizier Dadanum wields power for fun. But he cannot control bright and beautiful princess Sarah. Nor can her father King Nimrod. But does he even want to?

On a snowy mountain, Abraham prepares a sacrifice with angel Jaoel. When another heaven-born creature appears. Abraham has met this dark shapeshifter before. Jaoel knows him better. And by name.

Abraham returns to Babylon to preach the truth of one God alone. An overjoyed Sarah breaks her captivity to join him. But she knows not yet the truth of all. The power of Satan endures. For now.
