PERSONAL THANKS
David Manson wishes to thank publicly a number of individuals who have offered support and encouragement in the course of his long creative journey to this day.

He is grateful to Tommy Boyd; to Lara Lowe and all who worked at Cromwell; and to the late Rudy Rummel for the contributions mentioned in the Biography pages of this website.

He thanks his mother and late father for his opportunities in life.
He thanks Alcoholics Anonymous for saving his life.
He thanks Rob Handy for being a friend for life.
He thanks almighty God for life itself.

Finally, David wishes to thank two individuals in first-personal terms...

Trevor Green was a multi-skilled media producer who helped with almost every writing project I undertook from our time together at Cromwell Productions until his death in July 2021. He read with diligence a great many of my scripts - including some awful early drafts - and paid for a great many cups of coffee along the way. It is a matter of deep regret that I will not be able to buy him one back with my forthcoming millions. Sorry, mate. But thanks all the same.
What I owe to Nick Myerscough is greater still. Scour and Changing the Subject were landmarks in my journey as a writer. Nick spent hard-earned money on both, and a year of his own life making the latter with his beloved Emily. But the debt I owe Nick is more than financial. Indeed, he has been a sweet and loyal friend who has shared many if not most of the notable experiences of my life. Good and bad. Can't put a price on that, mate...
